What causes neck pain? 
Neck pain can come from any number of underlying sources. However, some causes of neck pain occur in patients more than others. Some of the common causes of neck pain include:

However, some patients also experience numbness, shooting or tingling pain, dizziness, swollen lymph nodes, swishing sounds, difficulty swallowing, headaches, shoulder pain, and tingling in the arm which is often a sign of a pinched nerve.
